Principal update

Updated: Nov 12, 2019

Last week, Mr. Breuer recorded an update for students to explain "in person" the changes in how late work is going to be handled, when grade updates will be sent home, and how failing grades will be watched.

In a nutshell:

Late work - no more noon hours. Instead, there will be a 10% reduction of grade potential on Day 1, another 10% reduction on Day 2, and a 50% grade potential on Day 3.

Progress Reports - instead of a grade report going home mid-term, there will now be grade reports sent home at the 1/3 point And 2/3 point of each academic quarter.

Failing grades - any student with one or more failing grade on one of these progress reports will be required to attend a certain number of after-school sessions with a teacher where progress can hopefully be made in their challenge area.

Following is Mr. Breuer's address to parents from last week. Written information regarding this can also be found in your parent handbook or student manuals, which are also located on the Parent/Staff Links page of this website.
